One day, I was teaching a class and my students alerted me that there was a baby opossum outside. It was such a hot day, and this cutie looked like she needed help. I went outside to bring her water and, as I got closer, I realized that she was injured, so I brought her in. We put some medicinal herbs on her and took care of her.
Not everyone likes opossums but, to me, they are such lovely creatures and I will always remember this cutie with a smile in my heart.
